I am very pleased with how my midterm project turned out. At first, I really had no idea how to create a webpage, but using Indesign, I quickly learned that it was not impossible. After studying and observing countless homepages of various websites, I sketched out my desgin and started the project. Although I changed a few things around in the end, my sketch really guided me to the creation of this page. It took a few hours to complete, but I am very satisfied with how it turned out.
This composition is balanced, dynamic, and looks like a functional webpage. I like that you used photos to balance the text, but they didn't interrupt the visual flow of the composition. The dominant photo immediately grabs the viewer's attention, while the other elements guide the viewer's line of vision in a clockwise motion. Great job!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a real website. I really like that you put Wrigley Ville in red, because it definitely helps draw the attention as well as balance everything out. Everything looks kind of symmetrical, but without looking boring. I think the pictures on the right also help a lot with that. Nicely done!
